Are you wondering what the role of the Area Youth forum Rep. is?
Youth forum reps are responsible for
creating the link between the council and the area for the youth.
Area reps are also encouraged to create
or continue to build Area forums, however, this is not their only focus.
The focus is to make sure the information is getting out to all groups
and sections. Therefore, we are encouraging reps to visit the different
groups and sections in their area and keep close contact with their Area
Commissioner.
Youth reps are also encouraged to attend
Area Forums put on by the Area Commissioners to help communicate
information to the adults. It also will allow adults to give any
feedback they might have.
Area youth reps are responsible for
attending the monthly GTC youth forum meetings (or as many as possible)
as they are the ones that make up this committee. Meetings are held at
differing locations though out the city to allow everyone a chance to
attend.
